There's a certain kind of cocktail den that The Aston Shuffle's "Comfortable" belongs in—the kind with velvet curtains, red lanterns, maybe a tufted chaise lounge in the back to nuzzle someone's neck in. The Beatport-conquering, Swedish House Mafia-supporting Australian duo's latest is their slinkiest track by far, trading in the EDM clunk of their previous releases for silky vocals by British jazz vocalist Will Heard—a lithe, soul-singing white boy who makes Robin Thicke look like a pervy old uncle in comparison. British producer (and noted lover of ass-slaps) Riton suffeses the track with just the right amount of electro-house sleaze to make the whole jam go down extra smooth. Pour yourself a martini and steep for a while with this one.
Comfortable comes out worldwide on September 27 via EMI/Universal, Outsiders/Polydor and Casablanca/Republic.
