We're going to need a bigger…fish tank? A wise man once said "Live every week like it's Shark Week," and thanks to one timely Kickstarter, we can keep our fishy passions in perpetual motion, just like sharks themselves. As the name suggests, Great White Pet is a 6-inch replica of the mighty sea beast, powered by a single motor so it swims in 360 degree circles on repeat. It's a major step up from the average sea monkey.

Created by product designer, Mike Howarth, "the world's first" pet Great White Shark is attached to a piece of flourocarbon monofilament that is invisible under water and is attached to an arm in the tank. The motor moves the arm, which then moves the shark. The creature is made from soft polymers, "allowing it to practically mimic the swimming motion of a real Great White Shark."The Kickstarter still has 35 days to go, and is only at £145 of it's £10,000 goal. Check out the campaign here, and celebrate Shark Week. As Howarth notes, Great White Pet makes the ideal pet, since "keeping an actual Great White Shark pet is highly impractical." If MTV Cribs taught us anything, that's not completely true.
