News broke yesterday that in addition to a publishing company, Derek Jeter has launched his own website, called Players Tribune. With the new digital platform, Jeets hopes to offer fans access to athletes like they have never before had, offering their "unfiltered" takes, rather than canned responses to the same questions from the same reporters over and over again. Neat idea, which will probably offer different kinds of canned athlete interactions, but it got us thinking about the time self-proclaimed movie person Derek Jeter reviewed his favorite movies. He shared his thoughts with ESPN NY and they were pretty good.
