Kyrie Irving Suffers Apparent Leg Injury Contesting Shot

Kyrie Irving appeared to injure his knee while contesting a shot by Russell Westbrook. He was on the court in pain for some time before being helped to his feet and into the locker room.

Kyrie Irving injured himself contesting a Russell Westbrook jump shot and it appears the two banged knees on the way down. Irving's knee buckled on contact and he immediately went down to the ground grabbing his knee. He remained on the court for a long time, looking to be in considerable pain, before finally being helped to his feet. Anderson Varejao and a trainer helped Irving walk to the locker room, which is a good sign.

Quick update:

Rachel Nichols says Irving has a knee contusion and is OK to go in the second half.
