Good morning, America. Welcome to the VICE Sports World News Roundup. Be sure to stop by daily for your morning headlines.

It's the 28th of September, 2015, and Sepp Blatter is still president of FIFA. Your regular rounder-upper, Brian Blickenstaff, was having so much fun on vacation he decided to stay there for another few days.

The most hilarious news of the weekend comes from the world of baseball. Washington Nationals closer and noted woodsman Jonathan Papelbon choked mega-superstar Bryce Harper in the dugout. Hilariously, manager Matt Williams still sent Papelbon to the mound in the 9th, claiming he "didn't know the severity" of the fight. Guess word doesn't travel very fast from one end of the dugout to the other.

Messi got injured over the weekend. He'll be out for about two months. Coincidentally, the first El Clasico is in about two months.

In NFL news, the following teams suck: Cowboys, Jaguars, Steelers, Jets, Ravens, 49ers, Dolphins, Bears, and Lions. Steelers quarterback Ben Roesthlisberger will be out somewhere between 4 and 16 weeks, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter:

Update on Ben Roethlisberger: expected to be sidelined at least 4 weeks. But hope is that it's not a season-ending injury. Still could be.

Romanian rugby player Florin Surugiu proposed to his girlfriend before the Romania-Ireland Rugby World Cup match. Awwwwwwwwww. (Romania got clobbered 44-10.)

Brian usually does a photo of the day, but I'm not Brian, so here's your motivational Sepp Blatter quote of the day:

What matters to me more than anything is that when all of this is over, football is the winner.
