Zeds Dead's "Hadouken" Video Is Like Climbing Into an EDM Fan's Dream

EDM behemoths Zeds Dead channel Street Fighter on their latest single.

Some festivals suck. There's the mass of people, vying to get a better view of your favourite DJ, the weather, the ticket price, and of course, depending on your view, the whole camping thing. Some festivals, however, don't suck at all. Tomorrowland, which for this purpose let's call The Biggest Festival In The World, is one of those. It boasts over 300,000 visitors per year and has an absolute shedload of acts: from the highest paid EDM stars such as Afrojack to more modest, yet no less talented, fare like our own My Nu Leng.

It was at this year's Tomorrowland that Toronto's EDM behemoths Zeds Dead decided to create the video for their single "Hadouken", filmed in the #SmirnoffHouse and featuring more of "your friendly local rave" vibes than you could shake a glow stick at. Suitably, for a track named after a particularly impressive Street Fighter move, the track itself comes across as one part hands-in-the-air euphoria to two parts gritty trapped-out peak-time madness, complete with the Zeds Dead boys ruling over things like a pair of rave overlords.
