Lose Yourself to Indian Summer's Latest Release, "Shiner"

A song somehow comforting in its eerie unease.
Indian Summer looking quite serious.

Something is not quite right around you. Those subtle eerie yells over that quivering piano just puts you a bit off-ease. You turn around to make sure nobody is sneaking up behind you when Missy of Ginger & The Ghost's echoey voice comes in and brings you into a space where you are completely at her mercy. Circling synths and surrounding ahhh's make sure you stay off-kilter just about the whole time. You can't escape it, but it's OK. Something just one step beyond your understanding makes you want more. This is the world of Indian Summer's latest single "Shiner"— completely comforting in its eerie unease.

Not to be confused with the early 90s post-hardcore band of the same name, Indian Summer is the production duo of Gabe Gleeson and Chevy Long making big moves out of Melbourne, Australia. They've been releasing music since 2010, Nina Las Vegas calls them the hardest working DJs in Australia and they're consistently dropping hits off of the very acclaimed Sweat It Out Label. That's the same label that's released work from the likes of Jesse Rose and Riton—Australia's finest.

Pro tip: Check out Indan Summer's Facebook page. Contrary to what you might believe from the serious picture above, they actually seem like two really funny guys.
