Not like I'm hardpressed or otherwise not susceptible to getting sucked down the proverbial Web black hole during the rest of the week, or anything. But Fridays truly are a time for heroic time-wasting through the countless wormholes of the 'net, right down to the dark, id-y core. At least that's what it feels like. And yet I wonder, where (which?) is the center? There seem to be lots of them running around here.
And that's great, if we're talking about the center of the actual, physical internet--that series of tubes in the ground. But what if we're talking about mere pages on the internet? They say it's any of these alllllll the way down.
This post is a work in progress, and with any luck will itself gradually morph into the Center. So check back in, humans. In the meantime, here's the real question: What color is the center of the internet?
