The New South Wales Origin rep was allegedly refused entry, and the resulting "altercation" occurred with security staff.The NRL's integrity unit is already investigating the incident; reviewing CCTV footage and speaking to witnesses.Last year, Bird was one of six Titans who received charges for possession of cocaine - though he was later acquitted.

He coped a fine and was stripped of the Titans captaincy for the incident.The 'cop car' incident also resulted in Bird being told he was only one major transgression away from getting the axe from the club - which he holds a contract with until the end of next year. Whether last weekend's blunder will do it is any one's guess, though.Despite the fact a top-notch playoff series is raging, the NRL has been in the news for all the wrong reasons of late. This Bird incident comes only a week after recently-returned NRL/NFL star Jarryd Hayne was filmed partying with a Hells Angels member.
