'The Simpsons' Basically Endorsed Hillary Clinton

Judging by how many people love the show, maybe this is the real reason for Hillary's recent bump in the polls.

Homer and Marge are voting for Hillary—which makes sense since they've been dreading a Trump presidency since 2000.

In a new clip released online Sunday night, the Simpsons parents are having trouble getting intimate because of the looming stress of choosing someone to vote for. They flip the TV on and watch a commercial parodying Clinton's old "3 AM" campaign ad from 2008.

The ad, which asks who you'd want answering the phone at 3 AM during a crisis, gives us two possible scenarios, and it's pretty easy to tell which candidate is better suited to take that nighttime call.

The two-minute video is just about as close to an endorsement of Clinton's campaign as it can be without explicitly saying it. Give it a watch above. Judging by how many people love The Simpsons, maybe the show's the real reason for Hillary's recent bump in the polls.
