There's a great new exhibition opening at 96 Gillespie Gallery this week. It's all about animals and how they're used in contemporary art to illustrate the human condition. A bevy of international artists, including Crass founder member Gee Vaucher and Fugazi poster designer Jay Ryan, have contributed photos, paintings and drawings. The works range from the cute to the comic to the mystical. The Saatchi gallery gets dry after the 12th visit so how about you go and check this out instead?* Mythical, Domestic, Working and Loved runs from 25th January – 17th February 2008. See details after the jump. Location: 96 Gillespie road, London N5 1LN
