The Sun has reported that this (Eddie Murphy being cast as The Riddler in the next Batman film) is happening, and now it's everywhere from Fox News to Radar. I'm going to say 'no, world, this is not happening, at all' for the following reasons:1. It was reported by a tabloid.
2. It was reported by a British tabloid.
3. The Editor in Chief of The Sun married someone from EastEnders and soon after was arrested in Vegas for assault.
4. It is clearly horsefeathers.I'm losing track.Like pretty much everyone else alive, I would follow Chris Nolan to the (cinemo-experiential) gates of Hell, and I'm sure if he wants to cast someone wacky he's got a good blueprint for how it's going to play out. But what irks me is that, in the light of it being revealed last week that Cosmopolitan UK completed fabricated an interview with Scarlett Johansson, and increasingly open-source celebrity gossip vehicles, stories like this would get picked up at all. With that said it is all probably going to be true. Fuck.
