Catch a Train to Kew Gardens With The Bomber Jackets For the Sake of Art

The London post punk trio deliver a new video from their forthcoming album 'Kudos to the Bomber Jackets'.

London, Moscow, Sydney or Berlin, there are certain things guaranteed on the public transport system of any major city; delayed schedules, some guy in the back eating chicken wings and art students. London trio The Bomber Jackets have just delivered a new video "Art Brussels" that features the band - Russell Walker and Daniel Bolger of deadpan post-punk outfit The Pheromoans along with Sian Dorrer - as three artists travelling on London transport to Kew Gardens where they set up their art next to a dumpster.

Released in the same week as a UK national election, the video could be some kind of statement about post-Brexit Britain but is more likely the furtherest they were willing to travel in Travelcard Zone 3.

Taken from their forthcoming album Kudos To The Bomber Jackets, the track has a throbbing restlessness as it references a snuffed out Olympic flame and Walker's deadpan delivery of "never going straight'.

'Kudos To The Bomber Jackets' is available July 14 through Alter.
