Cape Town-based artist ANGEL-HO, of the NON Worldwide Collective, and Johannesburg artist Bogosi Sekhukhuni have shared a new mix on DIS Magazine as Angelboyz Choir, called "Battle of the CBDemons." It features 11 agitated, careening, and elastic original tracks as well as one sound effect-heavy, industrially-tinged Kanye West remix—the 808s & Heartbreak track "Love Lockdown"—and is centered around a science fiction narrative.

The SoundCloud description for the mix described the story as being "about a unit of the ANGELBOYZ tribe … who are summoned by the OT Coven to defend their bodies and the City against a wave of CBDemons who have run amok spreading agitation and seeds of darkness in the year 2015." They added that their "artillery" is "a spiritual technology that, through an interface, generates a Mer Ka Ba field around the user. Allowing the user to travel through dimensions and space at will. This is the armour and weaponry of the ANGELBOYZ."

In an interview with Between 10and5, Sekhukhuni made a statement about his practice that seems relevant to this mix's trajectory: "My work explores themes around emergent technologies and ancient world knowledge," he explained. "Throughout this discourse is the idea that black youth and the youth of the world are destined to lead our societies to higher levels of experience and communion."
