It's Friction vs. Icicle in This Battle of the Bass

Heady neurofunk heater "Crucifix" is the result of their collaboration.

Shogun Audio boss Friction kicked off his Vs. series last year by collaborating with Total Science, Fourward, and Jakes. The second iteration of the series has an even higher profile, with Icicle and Technimatic donning the gloves to take on the man otherwise known as Ed Keeley.

We've got the premiere of the forebodingly titled "Crucifix," Friction's effort with dutch tech-and-bass scene leader Icicle. It's an upfront neurofunk tune with dark themes and scattershot bass stabs that keep it heady and heavy.

The release, out March 15 on digital and March 16 on vinyl, comes on the back of Icicle announcing a live tour that'll bring "the studio to the stage" as it rattles around Europe this month and onwards. Check the flyer below.
