Krueger is the Bastard Child of Techno and East Coast Club

Turn the lights out and check his "For Club Use Only" guest mix

Chicago-via-Philadelphia based producer and DJ Krueger first popped up on the THUMP radar early this summer when we premiered a release he put out on criminally underrated Belgian techno label Silverback Recordings. The tune, titled "Dark Walk," is an uncompromisingly bleak late-night slammer with cold techno-thematics and a Baltimore club beat battling its way through a 4x4 kick.

A couple of weeks ago, Krueger released "Tools, vol. 2," a further explanation of stripped down club sounds with a novel blend of aesthetics. In celebration of the release, Krueger's put together his "For Club Use Only" guest mix. It's a torrid 45 minutes of groovy darkness that begins to unpack what this dude is all about. Check it out, but make sure to turn the lights out.
