Eden Hazard put Chelsea on the board with a nice little back and forth with Didier Drogba and blasted it off Hotspur keeper Hugo Lloris. Hazard quickly spun away from his defender and laid it off to Drogba, who carefully tapped it right back to him in stride. Lloris got a piece of the shot, but the Tottenham defense lost Hazard, so he had a full head of steam and too much pace on the ball for the keeper to have a chance.

Minutes later Drogba got a goal himself, thanks to a truly awful clearance attempt from Lloris. The ball went right to Hazard and he settled it on his foot and passed it to Oscar, who then trickled a perfect pass through four defenders to Drogba for another clear shot on goal and a 2-0 lead.
