Let Your 'Faith' in Tech House Live On With Miss Melera’s New EP

It has been a huge calendar year for Holland's Miss Melera, having seen her first release from Parquet Records in November of 2013. Since then she's traveled the world over, entertaining dancers with her trademark groove from festival stages to underground clubs.

Next week Miss Melera will be dropping her latest EP on Einmusika Recordings. Dropping on September 24th, the EP will feature two tracks from Miss Melera along with an Einmusik remix. The Faith EP is dark tech house at its finest, and is a strong return to home soil for one of the biggest weeks in Dutch dance music—the Amsterdam Dance Event.

The title track "Faith," sends off those open-air festival vibes. The percussion work really carries this track, with those eerie, atmospheric synths in tow. The synth work is reminiscent of the Ten Walls sound that has been absolutely massive this summer, and it's easy to see why. Tracks like this can fit anywhere in the wide spectrum of tech and deep house, which is why it's seen support from so many noteworthy artists.

Label owner Einmusik took his remix a level deeper, really honing in on that rolling, rumbling low-end, and toning down the synth levels just a tad. Within his breakdown resides a truly menacing low-end growl, before snapping into a dance floor inspired drop. His touch is wonderful in this regard, re-shaping the track in his own light but retaining the key elements that make it stand out in its original form. Hats off to Einmusik for the remix!

Lastly, "Fearless" is truly a tech house club killer that hits hard. Almost tribal in nature, Miss Melera really hit this one out of the park. The breakdown is highlighted by super-smooth pad work, before the Dutch whiz drops you right back into the thick of things with those sticky hi-hats. Those dark synth stabs round out a fantastic homecoming EP for Miss Melera. Expect to hear this one dropped all over the biggest deep house parties of ADE this year.
