Creating visuals from sound is not a new concept—you can a get visualizer app on iTunes for $1.99, and many other music players will create nice pretty graphics to go with whatever you’re listening to, but most of them look like the residuals of a bad acid trip. The graphics created here by Russian designer Tatiana Plakhova use information as well as sound, which yields a real complexity and lends a sense of depth to the works. Pair that with the simplicity of her delicate, almost Cartesian-like designs and you’ll start to feel your stresses and troubles drifting away just looking at them.[via PSFK]
