READ: Starbucks Is Being Sued over Allegedly Not Filling Up Cups All the WayStarbucks can't catch a break, man. Now, after being sued in March for allegedly failing to fully fill their hot lattes to the top of the cup, a woman from Illinois has filed a lawsuit against the coffee conglomerate for putting way too much ice in its cold drinks, NBC News reports.Stacy Pincus filed the $5 million lawsuit in Northern Illinois Federal Court on April 27, basically accusing the chain of duping customers into paying more for their drinks than they're actually worth. In the lawsuit, Pincus argues that the cold drinks are under filled, and with the addition of so much ice, customers are really getting fewer fluid ounces than advertised."Our customers understand and expect that ice is an essential component of any 'iced' beverage," Starbucks spokesperson Jaime Riley told NBC News in response to the lawsuit. "If a customer is not satisfied with their beverage preparation, we will gladly remake it."While Pincus's solution is for Starbucks to start using larger cups, she could also maybe just ask for no ice next time.
