Ohio Police Arrested the Guy Who Commented on His Wanted Poster on Facebook

"I ain't tripping," he wrote. "Half of them don't even know me."

On Monday, a Sheriff's Office in Ohio posted an alert on Facebook about a fugitive who was at large in Butler County, Fox 8 in Cleveland reports. The fugitive, a 21-year-old guy named Andrew Dale Marcum, faced charges of safe cracking and domestic abuse, among other things. A little while after posting Marcum's face and details online, Marcum decided to comment on the Sheriff's post and make a case for himself. "I ain't tripping," he wrote. "Half of them don't even know me." It's a fair point, but probably not a strong enough argument to get the charges dropped.

The Sheriffs then commented on the post, politely asking Marcum to swing by their office. Today, Fox 8 confirms that Marcum has turned himself in and is now in police custody.
