Hey, O.J. here. We drove up to Arcata for the annual Marijuana Harvest, and Quintron was playing a show at Big Pete's Pizzeria. Quintron and Miss Pussycat smoked up the joint (get it? har) with their fog machine, and all the hippies started dancing. We didn't get to play, but at least I witnessed a crazy phenomenon: a crowd-surfing pizza box, pizza inside! I've seen many a thing crowd surf in my day but never a pizza. That night we stayed at some guy's big house and drank champagne in a hot tubThe drive was nice; we stopped once to check out a big-ass tree. Then we went to Portland and played at a rad bar called East End. With all the rock 'n' roll haircuts it felt like New York, except everyone here was real nice. The singer from Danava works there as a sound guy and folks from the Wipers and Hunches were hangin' out. We saw a leprechaun walking around town, but we had problems uploading that pic—maybe it was his (un)lucky charm. We played with Nightshade, a puppet collective, and Danava the next night at Berbati's Pan, situated between a porno Anime theatre and Voodoo donut shop.We went to the latter for bacon-topped donuts, which Carly got Alix for her birthday. It was a fun night. Plus, Quintron and Miss Pussycat also got Alix a cake and gave it to her on stage.Click the numbers to see Golden Triangle's previous tour updates.Part 1
