Every day is pretty cool at VICE, with all the free Colt 45 they give out and the constant parade of Richard Kern's nude models through the office and other fun stuff like that, but today is extra special. That's because today we have not one, but two huge things to tell you, and you're going to be pumped on both of them. First things first: we're putting out our second compilation of the best of

magazine, spanning from 2003 to 2008. Called

News, Nudity, & Nonsense

, the book is like a greatest hits, except unlike bands who put out greatest hits albums and only get worse from there,

Vice

keeps getting awesomer. The book features everything from serious news reporting on the war in Iraq to slightly less serious coverage of the best vegetables to have sex with. Head over to the

Vice online store

, or wherever else books are sold (probably American Apparel), and buy it immediately. It's the one with everyone's favorite actress,

Sasha Grey

on the cover, and it's really great. Also, tonight, if you're brave enough to sneak in or have a little thing called shameless pluck and drop a bunch of names, you might be able to go to this. You know who Spike Jonze is, and that his new film,

Where The Wild Things Are

, is the most-anticipated movie of the century. But did you know that Spike Jonze got his start in film by making videos with the likes of Mark Gonzales and Jason Lee? Well he did. Tonight, as a part of the MoMA's Spike Jonze retrospective, he, along with VBS' Epicly Later'd host Patrick O'Dell, will be hosting an evening of skateboard videos at the

MoMA

. After the screening there will be a question and answer session with important members of the skateboard community, like Jonze, Lance Mountain, and Ty Evans. This will be followed by a live performance by No Age, the best band to come out of LA since Van Halen. The event starts at 7:30. Unfortunately, tickets are sold out, but don't let that stop you--try pretending to be a pro skater from the 90s and maybe you'll be able to sneak in. Or, if you're a girl, just show your boobs. All security guards love that.
