Everyone’s favourite masked mystery man Zomby has joined forces with one of the UK’s biggest indie labels, XL Recordings, for a pair of EPs. The Where Were U in ’92 producer is set to release Let’s Jam EP1 and Let’s Jam EP2 in October. Having released his early material on Hyperdub before jumping ship to esteemed indie imprint 4AD— who released the With Love and Dedication albums — the dude with the sharpest fade in the game’s decided to make it a hat-trick and plumped for the label that’s home to the likes of Shamir, Ratatat and Adele.
Given that he’s happy to hotfoot from smoked out dubstep to acidic grime and buccolic post-rave we’re incredibly intrigued to see what he hits us with when the EPs drop. His recent collaboration with Wiley was an instant classic so we’re hoping for big things.
