Formerly, he was an Editor for Ranker’s Total Nerd vertical, an Associate Editor for We Got This Covered and PC Invasion, and a freelance Video Game Reviewer between a few gaming publications (including Common Sense Media and Game Rant). He’s always adored gaming, owning nearly every console from the PlayStation 1/Nintendo 64 generation and onward. A champion of indie games, Dwayne constantly fights for and highlights underrepresented voices, perspectives, and experiences.
Some of his favorite games include: Banjo-Kazooie, Psychonauts, Hollow Knight, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Baldur’s Gate 3, Not for Broadcast, and Dishonored (to name a few)! With an extensive background in writing and editing across the Entertainment spectrum, Dwayne does what he’s always wanted to do: discuss games industry topics and stories with a critical, nuanced eye, respecting the tireless work and craftsmanship that goes into game development.
