“I don’t think many people realize how combustible the situation is,” said researcher Rashid Abdi.

“It’s not what people lost their freedom for and definitely not what people died and gave their lives for.”
The new leaders also said they didn't intend to remain in power.
“We’re not going to stop. If Juba thinks that without bullets we’re not going to be able to protect ourselves and our people they’re wrong,” rebel leader Thomas Cirillo told VICE News.
“We stand with the victims of all these crimes.”
