As a result, they’ve backed off plans to hold Attorney General William Barr in contempt of Congress.
“If Congress asked him to testify, I believe he would appear voluntarily,” Rep. André Carson told VICE News
“He has no concern for politics or public opinion,” said Donald Stern, a former U.S. Attorney for Massachusetts.
“The attorney general must comply with the law.”
