These Cheech & Chong GMO + Biscotti Prerolls Are Funky, Old School, and Cheap(!)

Back-in-the-day weed vibes at a back-in-the-day price.

Two strains in one pre-roll can feel like a gimmick if the pairing doesn’t make sense. Cheech & Chong’s GMO + Biscotti Prerolls actually makes sense to blend.

This isn’t the same thing as a new genetic cross. GMO and Biscotti were not bred together into one strain here. It’s more like a blended pre-roll, somewhere in the mixed-flower or shake lane, which is not automatically a bad thing. If the strains work together, the result can still feel intentional.

GMO and Biscotti seem to be a good match because they both bring Girl Scout Cookie strain lineage into the mix. GMO is an indica-dominant hybrid from Girl Scout Cookies x Chemdawg, while Biscotti comes from Girl Scout Cookies x Gelato x South Florida OG. So even though this is a blend, there is a shared dessert-gas family tree underneath it.

The lab results showed 3.845% THC and 9.683% CBD. That THC number looks very low, but the pre-roll did not feel weak to me. The high still came through relaxed, calming, and body-forward, so this is a good reminder that the lab number is only one part of the experience.

The profile is not subtle. The listing promises savory garlic, baked spice, earth, and gas, and that is very accurate. I also picked up a chemical edge that almost made it smell infused, even though it’s not.

At $12.99 for two 1g pre-rolls, this is one of the better, more affordable pre-roll prices I’ve seen lately. The bag fought me harder than expected, but once I finally got it open, the whole thing felt very on brand: loud, a little annoying, and made for people who already know they like their weed funky. There’s something old-school about the whole thing, too. How can it not? It’s Cheech & Chong, after all.

My Quick Hits

Cheech & Chong’s GMO + Biscotti Prerolls are funky, savory, and a very good deal for two 1g pre-rolls. This is a blended pre-roll, not a true genetic cross, but the pairing works because both strains have Cookie lineage. The smell is loud right away: garlic, baked spice, earth, gas, and a little chemical edge that almost made me think it was infused.

  • Buy it if: you want a cheap two-pack of funky THCA pre-rolls with a relaxed, calming body high.
  • Skip it if: you hate savory weed or want each pre-roll packaged in its own tube.
  • Best part: the $12.99 price for two pre-rolls is hard to argue with.
  • Biggest drawback: the childproof bag was also kind of stoner-proof, and mine had both pre-rolls in one tube instead of separate tubes.

Pre-Roll Scorecard

  • Packaging & Presentation: 3.5 / 5
I like seeing hemp brands use childproof, cannabis-style packaging, but this bag was a pain to open. Mine also came with both pre-rolls in one tube instead of each one having its own, which was different from what it looks like on the website listing.
  • Roll & Burn: 4 / 5
The pre-rolls kept their shape, and I liked that they were made with RAW cones. The joints were packed nicely allowing for an even burn.
  • Aroma & Flavor: 4 / 5
Loud garlic, baked spice, earth, gas, and a little chemical edge. It almost smelled infused even though it is not, which may be a lot for some people, but the product listing’s savory profile was accurate to what I smelled and tasted.
  • Smoothness: 4 / 5
The smoke was funky and intense, but it didn’t feel too harsh. This is not a delicate pre-roll, but it was still easy enough to get through.
  • Effects: 4 / 5
Relaxed, calming, and body-forward high in a very Cookie-strain way. I smoked it before dinner and definitely got a little munchy.
  • Value: 4.5 / 5
$12.99 for two 1g pre-rolls is an incredible price, especially for a blend that feels intentional instead of random.
  • Overall Score: 4 / 5
A funky, savory THCA pre-roll two-pack with loud GMO-Biscotti flavor, relaxing effects, and a price that makes the annoying bag easier to forgive.

How I Tested Cheech & Chong GMO + Biscotti PreRolls

I smoked one before dinner, because GMO and Biscotti both have enough Cookie lineage that munchies felt like a safe bet.

First, I had to actually get into the bag. The childproof seal did its job a little too well, which is good in theory and annoying when you are the adult trying to open it. Once I got inside, I noticed both pre-rolls were packed into one tube instead of separate tubes. Not a dealbreaker, because they kept their shape, but still different from what the website presented.

I smoked one full 1g pre-roll and wanted to see if the blend made sense in real life. GMO and Biscotti are not genetically crossed here, so I wasn’t expecting some brand-new strain experience. I was looking for whether the savory garlic-gas side and the sweeter Cookie side actually worked together once lit. They did, but this is definitely a funky pre-dinner smoke. Not fruity or cute, but it’s subtle.

Packaging & Presentation

The bag was hard to open, which annoyed me and also made me respect it a little. This is hemp-derived THCA, but the packaging felt more like something from the cannabis side: childproof, sealed, and not just thrown into some flimsy pouch. I like seeing that from hemp brands, even when I’m standing there fighting the bag like it has some beef with me.

Once I got it open, I noticed both pre-rolls were inside one doob tube. That was different from what I expected based on the product page, and I would have preferred each pre-roll to have its own tube. Some reviews mention separate tubes, so packaging may vary.

The good news is that the pre-rolls still looked fine. They kept their shape, and the RAW cones were a nice touch. The presentation was not perfect, but it felt secure, and at this price, I care more about the joints making it through the bag intact.

Aroma & Flavor

The smell hit as soon as I opened the bag: savory garlic, baked spice, earth, and gas. The product listing was on point with that. GMO + Biscotti sounds like it could lean more cookie-sweet, but the GMO side is louder.

I also picked up a chemical edge found in infused joints, it’s not infused, but that sharpness was there in the nose. Not enough to ruin it, just enough to make the profile feel extra funky and zingy.

Once lit, the flavor stayed in the same lane. Garlic, earth, gas, and baked spice, with a little softness underneath. If you want fruity or candy-like flower, this is not that. This is savory, spicy weed for people who like their pre-rolls a little weird and kind of old school.

Burn & Smoothness

The pre-rolls looked solid once I finally got them out of the bag. Both held their shape in the single tube they shared, and I liked seeing RAW cones instead of some mystery rolling paper. That made the whole thing feel a little more considered, especially for a two-pack this cheap.

The smoke matched the profile: funky, savory, and heavier than a fruity pre-roll would be. But it was not harsh in a way that made me want to put it out early. The garlic-gas thing is intense, so the experience is more bold than delicate, but it stayed smokeable and smooth.

For two joints at $12.99, I was not expecting luxury joint perfection. I wanted the pre-rolls to stay intact, smoke cleanly enough, and deliver the GMO + Biscotti profile without falling apart. They did that.

Effects

This hit like a soft pre-dinner smoke that knew how to chill me out and boost my appetite.

The lab report I saw listed 3.845% THC and 9.683% CBD, though these felt stronger than that THC number might suggest. The high still came through calming and body-forward, so I wouldn’t treat these like nothing just because the lab number looks lower than expected. It still hit.

I felt relaxed first, then very chill which could be due to the higher CBD contents based on the lab results. Then dinner sounded like a great idea. The munchies were not cartoon-level, but they were definitely there, which tracks for two strains with Cookie lineage.

The body high was the main thing for me. It felt warm and settled without completely hitting me, so I could still hang out, talk, function, and generally normal. I just felt looser and more willing to let the night move slowly. That could be due to the high CBD in this joint.

The GMO + Biscotti blend worked better than I expected. GMO brought the funky, savory heaviness, while Biscotti kept it from feeling too one-note. I would use this when I want to chill before eating.

Pricing & Availability

Cheech & Chong’s GMO + Biscotti Prerolls cost $12.99 for two 1g pre-rolls, which is pretty wild. That price does a lot of heavy lifting here. The packaging was not perfect, and I would have preferred each pre-roll in its own tube, but two full-gram THCA pre-rolls for under $13 is still an excellent deal.

I also appreciate that Cheech & Chong puts the shipping restrictions right under the product image. The brand says it cannot ship THCA pre-rolls to Alabama, Alaska, California, Connecticut, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, or Wyoming. That makes the usual hemp shipping guessing game a lot less annoying.

The Joint’s End

Cheech & Chong’s GMO + Biscotti Prerolls are cheap, funky, and better than the packaging fight suggests. I would have preferred separate tubes, but the pre-rolls themselves held up. For $12.99, two full-gram pre-rolls with a loud garlic-gas profile and high CBD is a strong deal.

This is not the blend I’d pick for someone who wants pretty, fruity, high THC weed. It’s spicy, earthy, a little chemical on the nose, and very much a pre-dinner smoke. I felt relaxed, chilled out, and ready to eat, which is where I expect GMO and Biscotti to take me.

I’d buy these when I want something affordable, body-light, and weird in a good way.
