Disney and Champion have finished what they started at Fanatics Fest NYC.

Every one of the NFL’s 32 teams now has an official Disney, Pixar, Marvel, or Star Wars character standing in as its spirit animal, merch-wise. The Disney | Champion NFL Collection pairs each franchise with a character chosen for some mix of team colors, mascot, city identity, or pure vibes, splashed across heritage-inspired tees, crewnecks, and sweatshirts.

The first eight pairings debuted live at Fanatics Fest NYC through the “Disney Fan Draft,” a reveal built to mimic the actual NFL Draft, right down to the on-site talent appearances and a dedicated Fan Zone for real-time content capture. The other 24 have rolled out since, and the full board is now public.

The Starting Lineup

Some of it is exactly what you’d guess. The Cowboys get Woody, the Buccaneers get Captain Hook, the Bears get Baloo. 

Some of it swings harder, like the Eagles matched with Marvel’s Doctor Doom, an intimidating, cape-wearing menace in green and silver who reads less like Philly-specific fan service and more like an Eagles fan in a boardroom decided Doctor Doom just looks like an Eagle. 

The Packers, a team that plays home games in whatever weather Wisconsin decides to throw at them in December, get Chewbacca, who’s a character whose entire personality is showing up and getting shit done.

Not every pick is about menace, either. The Lions land Simba, which tracks for a team that’s spent the last few seasons rebuilding its own impressive Pride Rock. The Falcons get the Millennium Falcon, presumably because “fast, a little unreliable, beloved anyway” was too on the nose to pass up.

The Broncos got Maximus, which is close to the least surprising pairing.

You’d think Pegasus must have also been in the running for them… but he went to the Chargers for some reason, instead of Zeus (who literally throws lightning bolts).

Darth Vader for the Raiders, though? LOLZ. Ok.

The Full 32-Team Board

The collection is landing in stages across Fanatics.com, NFLShop.com, DisneyStore.com, and select Lids stores nationwide, with apparel priced between $29.99 and $129.99. Since the rollout is staggered by team, fans whose favorite hasn’t hit shelves yet can join a waitlist through NFL Shop instead of refreshing four different retailer sites.

Disney is framing this as the opening move in a bigger year-long push with ESPN, building toward ESPN’s first-ever Super Bowl broadcast—Super Bowl LXI—in February 2027. More drops and fan moments are reportedly planned throughout the rest of the 2026 season, so this is likely the first of many Disney x NFL merch waves before it’s over.
