Have you ever watched Game of Thrones and wished there was an entire show about Robert's Rebellion, a buddy comedy with Arya and the Hound, the unsolved mysteries of Essos, or a cooking show for Westerosi delights (lamprey pie!)? Well, you just might get your wish.

As many fans already know after having watched a whole bunch of ice melt, the massively popular fantasy show will start its penultimate seventh season on July 16, 2017. But after that, HBO is determined to make sure the ratings bonanza continues. According to Entertainment Weekly, the cable network is looking to create not just one but four Game of Thrones spin-offs that will "explore different time periods of George R.R. Martin's vast and rich universe."

The show concepts are being developed by Max Borenstein (Kong: Skull Island), Brian Helgeland (L.A. Confidential), Jane Goldman (X-Men: First Class), and Carly Wray (Mad Men), with Martin himself working on Goldman and Wray's projects. Current Game of Thrones showrunners D.B. Weiss and David Benioff will serve as executive producers on any show that gets made. No details of any possible show have been leaked yet, but one likely idea will be an adaptation of George R.R. Martin's "Dunk and Egg" stories, which take place before the events of the show.

Game of Thrones may end next year, but, as we saw with Jon Snow, what is dead may come back to rule.
