The Beautiful Death of Durrr

Erol Alkan, 2ManyDJs, Klaxons, and more help Rory Phillips, Chandra and crew bid farewell to London's much-loved indie dance night.

On November 15, Erol Alkan, Klaxons, and 2ManyDJs turned up for a beautiful funeral, bidding farewell to Durrr in a haze of glitter and glory. Helmed by globe-trotting DJ Rory Phillips and the lovely Chandra, Durr was the spiritual successor to Erol's wildly successful Trash, providing a home for indie-dance fans to shake a tailfeather. Along the way, nearly every major DJ or band from the disco/house/post-punk world graced the stage: Holy Ghost, Aeroplane, Classixx, Ewan Pearson, In Flagranti, and the list goes on.
