Red Bull Music Academy Bass Camp Will Return to Montreal With Industry Pioneers

With Kevin Saunderson, BadBadNotGood, and DJ Quik leading the class, this is the kind of school we want to go to.

The Red Bull Music Academy Bass Camp is back for its second Canadian season in Montreal this February 26 to March 1.

The famed Red Bull Music Academy program will host a smaller version of its usual series, this time through a four-day showcase. Twenty artists have been handpicked from across Canada to participate in lectures, studio time, and club nights with some of the music industry's elite.

Bass Camp's daytime workshops will be led by celebrated industry pioneers, including Montreal native Jacques Greene, Detroit techno icon Kevin Saunderson, Toronto trio BadBadNotGood, and a highly anticipated lecture and performance by hip-hop legend, DJ Quik. But at night, these artists will (theoretically) put pen to paper and perform at various venues in Montreal. The diverse lineup is sure to suit Montreal's eclectic music scene, and with a slew of surprise special guests in tow?who knows what else may be in store.

Tickets to each night are on sale now and available here.

You can find Red Bull Music Academy on Facebook and Twitter.
