The combination of Exhaustion’s driving punk-inflected “Phased Out” and it’s spazzy, world-on-fast-forward view in the new video are enough to make you go all Falling Down on someone. But that’s the charm; “Phased Out” and their reverb-heavy track is particularly crucial, projecting angst and anxiety in a way that many post-punk or bands in general could only dream to accomplish.
