David Pajo Survives Suicide Attempt

The musician known for his work with Slint, Zwan, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Interpol survived.

Late last night, musician David Pajo—the native of Louisville who was known as a significant member of Slint and for collaborations with Zwan, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Interpol—reportedly attempted sucicide in his New Jersey home. He posted a suicide note to his blog, writing simply that "this is where my story ends." After many fans saw the post, authorities were alerted and EMS intervined, according Consequence of Sound and Substream, and Pajo survived. We'll keep our eye on the story as it develops, and let you know if there are any updates. Our thoughts are with Pajo and his family.
