Attention Brooklyn! Speedy Ortiz, Aye Nako, and More Want to Party with You Before Summer's Out

A night of good ol’ patriarchy-smashing fun.

It’s hard to not feel great watching Speedy Ortiz's live show. Just look at how happy Hannibal Buress was when he got to sit in on drums for them at SXSW. After all, the tunes on their new album Foil Deer are some of their best yet. So what could be better than a late-summer bash with Speedy Ortiz and Aye Nako? How about seeing both bands for a cool five bucks?

This August 31, Noisey and Shiner Beer are teaming up for a night of good ol’ patriarchy-smashing fun with a bill featuring the beloved pair plus one more TBA at Saint Vitus on August 31. Five dollars gets you in the door and tickets are on sale.

Check out Speedy Ortiz’s creepy-awesome video for “Raising the Skate” below and read our interview with lead singer-guitarist Sadie DuPuis.
