Bill Murray Pulled Some Bill Murray-Ass Shit Last Night

First he jumped out of a cake on 'Letterman,' then he fell out of a chair on MSNBC.

Bill Murray was the first guest on Late Night with David Letterman, all the way back in 1982. Last night, he appeared as Letterman's last official guest in his second-to-last ever show, and celebrated by popping out of a cake, then bringing out a bottle of what appeared to be vodka to do some shots with the departing late night TV icon. Later in the evening he appeared on MSNBC's The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell, where he fell out of a chair, saying that he'd had too much to drink before his appearance. "I just did the Letterman show, went to dinner, had oysters, rose wine, red wine, duck, and a hanger steak and then rushed here to do your show," he explained.

Through slurred words, Murray candidly discussed his status as Letterman's last guest and the pressure it brought, stressing that he was there to support him as a friend. Watch the boozing, Murray's fall, and his interview with O'Donnell below.
