People with clipboards from the Australian Bureau of Statistics have long calculated that the heart of Australia's most populated city is the middle of Parramatta. Technically this also makes Parramatta the centre of the Australian music industry.

On Friday night NOISEY has invited some of Sydney's finest hip hop selectors Nes, Big Skeez, FlexMami, Klasik, and DJ Ziggy to perform DJ sets at Parramatta's Aird Street as part of Parramatta Lanes, a four night street festival that celebrate the culture and lanes of Sydney's west.

As well as hip hop beats you can also expect, VICE screenings on Aird Street, featuring fresh episodes of SBS VICELAND's If You Are the One and Huang's World, plus and some fresh local VICE footage.

Parramatta Lanes is on Oct 11 - Oct 13. For more info head here.
