I don’t know what name or nose these people are talking about, but this is a pin of a Groucho Marx mask. The mask was inspired by the comedian’s signature look and easily identifiable face and mustache. It’s been appropriated by just about everyone, but let this be our homage to one of the greatest comedians of all time.

What do creatives love? Spending other peoples’ money. But wait—what do they love even more? Entry-level coolness signifiers like Keith Haring and The Cure. Ok, maybe I’m a bit jaded. I really love this Cure album and Keith Haring was OK, I guess. Regardless, these two Coolness Signifiers make cool-signifying pins, which, I would argue, are better for signifying coolness than band shirts or bad hair dye because they're small and not annoying. Take note.

Speaking of Brooklyn, I just returned here from a trip to the West Coast. How am I feeling? Like this sad girl in the pic. If you’re ever wondering if you have seasonal aches, clinical pains, or are just uncomfortable for no reason, try leaving whatever major metropolitan area that you call home. It’s the only natural cure. If that fails, the fetal position is great for your lower back.

Well, folks, it was only a matter of time before this one. I can’t even make any mean jokes, because the editor of this particular article loves La Croix like an exorcist loves holy water. I too am guilty of loving La Croix and would wear this proudly, despite being unable to attend a house show without a look of dejection on my face. This pin is also cheap as hell, at just $6. A rare find.

Maybe I’m a diva, maybe I’m a romantic, maybe I just fucking love me some Meryl. I sat behind her at a benefit once and boy, is she stately. I felt like a bum in comparison, and I was in a tux. Here's to you, O glorious Meryl: If only every man and woman held themselves to such a standard.
