Get ready—the first episode of VICE season four is airing this Sunday night in Australia on Fox 8.

Season four will take a look at the struggling small scale weed growers of California's infamous Emerald Triangle, the women fighting for gender equality in Afghanistan, and the lives of Palestinian teenagers living on the West Bank.

In the first episode, former Navy SEAL turned VICE correspondent Kaj Larsen travels to Nigeria and spends six weeks with the Nigerian army on the front lines of the fight against Boko Haram. The second half of the show delves into the fraught world of human gene editing, with Isobel Yeung meeting the scientists developing technology that's set to totally reshape evolution as we know it.
