Elvis Abrahanowicz Explores the Hidden Restaurants of Buenos Aires

Wherever you go, you'll find locals putting a different spin on nightlife. In our new series, After Dark, we travel the world to explore just that.

In Episode One of After Dark, we send Sydney chef Elvis Abrahanowicz—of Bodega 1904 and Porteño—to his hometown of Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he investigates the city's burgeoning scene of discreet kitchens. Elvis visits everyday Argentinians in their backyards, living rooms, and on their rooftops, where they set up shop and serve local food and booze to diners and drinkers. Like a dinner party but… every night. Very tranquilo.
