Deep Dish's New Single "Quincy" is Out Now on Astralwerks

Is Astralwerks killing it or what?

Deep Dish headlining their comeback show at Winter Music Conference in Miami

It's been nearly a decade since we've heard from Deep Dish, but the wait is over. Last week the duo—Ali "Dubfire" Shirazinia and Sharam Tayebi—dropped a new single, "Quincy," which hit the shelves on the sly, with little fanfare and virtually no press coverage. The tech house team will join Deadmau5, Eric Prydz, and Porter Robinson at Astralwerks, the label that's been snapping up EDM stars left and right in a series of power moves that have solidified their role as the leading dance music label in the US.

Their new single "Quincy" is all bouncing basslines and hypercolor atmospherics—a no-frills excursion into catchy, after-hours techno. Deep Dish is back behind the decks as well this year, having headlined their first comeback show at a massive warehouse venue for Winter Music Conference last week. They've got plenty of shows planned for the future, and with the recent move to Astralwerks, we almost surely won't have to wait another eight years for new music from this dynamic duo.
