This week we published a video featuring Yorta Yorta rapper Briggs and Bangladeshi-Australian comedian Aamer Rahman discussing Australia Day. They took on all the big issues, including BBQs, the flag, the national anthem—as well as genocide. Predictably some viewers left angry comments, standing up for BBQs and the flag. Interestingly no one mentioned the national anthem.Rather than leaving the last word to the internet, we got Briggs and Aamer back in the office for a rebuttal. Here they are reading out the comments and telling you, the viewer, what they think.
