Jarryd Torff is a prime example of why jazz and electronic music are united 'till death do them part. New to your ears and ours, his breezy, house-y debut EP Islands gleams from start to finish.

The multi-instrumentalist and producer is based vaguely "somewhere between the islands of Montreal and New York City," and tells us how this release is a blend of the experiences he's had in the two metropolises.

Listen to the track "Islands" above. Jarryd Torff's Islands EP is out on February 24.
