A Party In Memory of Legendary Promoter Rob Fernandez Promises the "Biggest Lineup Of All Time"

It's going down on September 16 in New York City.

When the veteran New York City promoter Rob Fernandez passed away in July, a stream of fond memories poured in from DJs and industry insiders around the world. Fernandez was an early proponent for house music in New York, starting in the early 90s as a doorman at Sound Factory—where Frankie Knuckles and Little Louie Vega were residents—and working his way through clubs like Twilo, Limelight and Palladium. Fernandez was also a key player at Pacha, where he was a director of promotions and bookings for ten years.

Dance Music's Biggest DJs and Key Players Remember Rob Fernandez

To celebrate his memory, Fernandez's many friends and collaborators are teaming up for a giant party on September 16, 2015 called House of Rob, with 100% of proceeds going towards his family. The first wave of the lineup was announced today, and stretches all the way from New York underground stalwarts Kenny Dope, Hector Romero and Danny Krivit to international chart-toppers like Kaskade and The Chainsmokers—a true testament to Fernandez's reach. You can get tickets to the event here, and check Pacha's Facebook for new additions to the lineup.
