They've done it: the near-weightless feeling of walking on the Moon is now something you can experience right here on Earth with Moondrop, a tiny, metal desk toy that mimics the effects of Lunar and Martian gravity. Using precise physics calculations, Kristoph Krisjans invented the device to "create a display that could show the Lunar gravity on any desktop.""Originally Moondrop was more a scientific project to imitate the Lunar gravity. However since I am a fidgeter myself I decided to design it as a high quality fidget toy as well," Krisjans tells Creators. "The shape of Moondrop is very handy and the 'anti-gravity' slider makes it very satisfying to play with. You can flip it, slide it, spin it and fidget any way you like. I found fidgeting a great way to keep focus, not get distracted from meaningful works or just relax." Its top-of-the-line CNC machining in either aerospace-grade aluminum or copper—the copper option imitates the gravitational pull of Mars—ensures a satisfying metal-on-metal clink for every slide of your Moondrop.Basically, it's complicated physics made simple and satisfying.
