The Internet’s Steve Lacy Has Released A Track That Didn’t Make His Excellent Demo

“This song didn’t make the demo but my friends and I all agree this is one the world should here so......"

If "Moron" is anything to go by, Steve Lacy's latest demo must be sensational. The 18-year-old guitarist and vocalist for The Internet, shared the new song over the weekend and reaction from fans was immediate.

"This song didn't make the demo but my friends and I all agree this is one the world should here so," Lacy tweeted.

Following The Internet's Syd and Matt Martians, who both released solo albums earlier this year, Lacy stepped out with a six-song demo of pop, rock and funky soul. Most of it was made on an iPhone but the 15-minutes shine with adventurous music that has drawn comparisons to the early music Pharrell Williams.
