The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are back in cinematic action this weekend, and to celebrate, Paramount Pictures has commissioned a series of illustrations by artists the globe over to pay homage to the pizza fiending crime fighters.

Compiled into an online exhibition titled "The Legend of the Yokai," the project features vibrant TMNT designs by artists like Amanda Visell, Jesse Philips, the Mexican graffiti legends Saner and Mr. Kone, and dozens of other illustrators and visual artists. Though the work diverges in style, each contribution reflects the essence of the KappaYokai: "Mythical creatures summoned by the spirits of honor, wisdom, courage, and brotherhood."
