Let's Watch Ryan Adams Do the Weather Forecast in Denver

He was fascinated by the green screen.

Ryan Adams released an ode to a Denver news station yesterday. It was called "Denver7 (Piece of Heaven)," and it mostly involved the singer-songwriter begging for a chance to present the Colorado ABC affiliate's weather report. Last night, he was granted his wish. Here is Ryan Adams warning people about storms in the east:

In yesterday's song, Adams promised to wear a flannel and a Batman shirt, and he was as good as his word. The Batman tee was yellow, however, and that screwed with the green screen just enough to make it seem like Adams was being slowly erased from a video game. He actually did a pretty good job of the whole thing until he turned his back to the camera and found himself bewildered by the very idea of chroma key technology.

Congratulations to Ryan Adams on realizing his dream. He plays the Red Rocks Amphitheatre near Denver tonight.
