A Man Has Been Fatally Shot On the Set of a Bliss N Esso Video Clip

No one else was injured in the incident, which occurred at a bar in Brisbane's CBD earlier this afternoon.

An actor has been fatally shot in Brisbane's CBD while filming a music video for Australian hip hop group Bliss N Esso. Detective Inspector Tom Armitt told the media that the man was shot during filming, as actors on set were possibly using live and loaded guns. The band were not on set at the time.

"Several firearms were discharged during a scene by several actors," he said. "As a result of the use of those firearms, one actor has received wounds to the chest and has subsequently died of those injuries."

The incident, which occurred earlier today around 2pm inside the bar Brooklyn Standard on Eagle Lane, concerned nearby offices.

Bliss N Esso's management has released a statement, saying "We are able to confirm the death of a person occurred today at the filming of a Bliss N Eso music clip. The band were not on site at the time. The video production crew and our team are currently working with the police in their investigation and we are unable to provide further comment at this time."
