Feeling Like a Fraud is Completely Normal

Sci-fi artist and body architect Lucy McRae explains the imposter experience.

So you feel like a total fake, a cultural interloper, that you don't deserve any of the success you have. Yeah, same. Hell, is there any feeling as common among young people as Imposter Syndrome or The Imposter Experience as it's sometimes called. Not only does it make you feel bad, it could also be holding you back from doing the things you want to do.

Don't worry though, we can help. Or rather, Lucy McRae can. Let the sci-fi artist and body architect explain this phenomenon and share a few ways she has learned to overcome it.

Illuminated is presented in partnership with Nissan QASHQAI.
